Usage and scope of application
Metal Oxide Surge Arrester without gaps for Protection of Shunt Compensation Capacitor(MOA)is a protective electical apparatusused to protect power capacitors equipment against the damage resulted from atmospherc over-voltage and operating over-voltage.

Normal service conditions of MOA
a.Ambient air temperature within the range of -40ºC-+45ºC
b.alititude not exceeding 4000m
c.Frequency of a.c. Power supply within the range of 48-62Hz
d.ice thickness 20mm
e.sunshine intensity 0.1w/cm2
f.max.wind speed of the installation site is less than 35m/s
g. seism tichter scale:≤8
h.Continuous applied power frequency over-voltage of MOA not exceed the continuous operating voltage of MOA
